"Not that I'm trunky, but..."

Haha my companion Sister Oa from Samoa is super hilarious, she has 6 weeks left of her mission and everyday she starts a sentence with "Not that I'm trunky, but..." Haha. She really isn't though, she's awesome and works hard!
Shoot. So I remember going into my mission thinking it would be easier to wake up at 6:30am by the end. Never have I been so wrong. My body feels like lead. My brain doesn't work when it's supposed to, and also never shuts up when it should. What's happening to me??

Just like just like JUST got a phone call from the mission office confirming flight plans. What?? Am I leaving soon?..

Sis. Perry: "So just tell me what airport you will be flying to."
Sis. Chen: "Toronto Pearson.."
Sis. Perry: "Ok thank you. Now the next thing I want you to do is pretend this phone call never happened and go back to being a good missionary."

Haha finna not get trunks right now. Just watch me.

Going to San Leandro!

Been here for 3 transfers
Sorry on timed computer!
Everyone only wants to see pictures anyway.
Did a ton of service this transfer, super fun! Super bien!
Sorry I am lame.
Luh you!

+ tried to grow lettuce. It worked!

Sunday, March 30, 2014!

This is a pic of all the food we came home with after church. The members here are awesome, but my body can't handle it! So much for 6 months to sexy.
Shammrock shakes are such a delight.
My companion is a sweetheart and what I love about her is that she just has a way with words. She can say things with such eloquence. Companionship inventory last week:
Me: "What can I improve on?"
Her: "Just look at your face. Then you will know what you need to improve on."

Out in the Boonies

...of Brentwood!
I love my companion, she is from Hong Kong. She is hilarious.
Timed computer will kick me out in 5, but just thought I'd send some pics!
Also, can't believe it's already been a year! So fast!
Love you all!

Hi Oakland! Bye Oakland!

Called to Brentwood!
Oakland during Christmas was great though. So many Christmas miracles, and the people here are awesome! I didn't get to see much of Oakland til after Christmas, but I am glad I could experience some of it! Way different from Danville. Both awesome.
Excited to go to Brentwood!

If your companion loves you, she will say things like...

"I'm gonna kill you..."
"...I forgot to kill you last night."
"...This will be a good place to kill you."
"Where's the knife..."
Incredibly, we've never even have a real arguement. Not even a disagreement. No arguements. No disagreements. Only death threats...
What makes it funny is that she is still learning English and she's already coming up with hilarious stuff.
I went to the temple today. SO incredible. Pic from that is in Sis. Mitchell's camera, I'll post it next week.
Every Tuesday and Thursday we visit Sunrise seniors' centre and talk to the people with alzheimers there. Last week we didn't go to the alzheimer's place and just talked to the other people and did crosswords with them. The folks there are actually brilliant, we did an entire crossword in like less than 20 minutes. I aspire to be that wise and knowledgeable about random crap.
Pic of baby Peter peeking at us, so cute. Also we went to the Berthas' for dinner last week and little Kate gave us both a little present. She is so cute, I forgot to get a pic with her so I just got one of the box she gave me, where she wrote "There is a secret insiide." Ahh, cutie! There was a blank colouring page and some gum.
On sunday evening we had a local "Why I Believe" Fireside. Ususally there is one in Oakland every month, where recent converts give talks about their conversion, but this one was just for the Danville stake. The spirit is always super strong at those, I loved it so much. We has a less active and potential investogator show up, and they were both really glad they came. Ahh I love bring a missionary so much!
Be good, kids. Love you all.
